The Fundació Robert Graves is a public non-profit foundation based in the Balearic Islands. The objectives of the foundation are of a cultural nature and its fundamental aim is to maintain a permanent exhibition of the life and work of Robert Graves.
Robert Graves was one of the greatest love poets of the twentieth century in English language, and his books on mythology and historical novels are well known.
Robert Graves defined himself as a poet. His occupation "writer". He use to say he "raised dogs with pedigree to feed his cats". Dogs were his books, cats his poems.
On the island of Mallorca, is situated on the northwest slope of the Serra de Tramuntana bathed by the Mediterranean Sea.
